Some more Australian landscape sketches.
Some recent 20 min sketches (although the last is 30 minutes). Canadian landscapes and one Australian outback landscape.
I went to the Monet exhibition and was inspired to paint my room. It’s refreshing to paint from life rather than a photo.
I am on holidays now and am planning to get back into the daily sketches. It’s been a rough month but I am starting to feel like a normal person again
Day 16 - Boys
For my project for uni I am drawing a group of boys hiking through a forest, so I guess this can count as a study for that.
Backpacker boy, doing his backpacker boy stance
Day 15 - Boys
This week’s theme is boys because I really have a hard time drawing them. Want to focus on full body action shots too.
Day 14 - Hands
Ran out of time with this one, but it was fun! And I feel like I really nailed the skin colour
Thus concludes the week of hands. It was fun while it lasted. ‘Til next time
Okay, change of plans for this week!
I have decided to focus my sketches on the human figure, because that is really where I need the most practice.
I thought I would start with hands as we need to do hand sketches for uni anyway - two birds with one stone. I have always struggled with skin tone colouring, and this was SO HARD! Will hopefully make my final illustration for this a tonne easier
