I’ve recently decided to do 30 minutes each day of spontaneous drawing with no thinking. Just creating. Without any premeditation or anything. I feel like I need to let loose a bit - planned drawing gets way too serious sometimes. Some of the best ideas and designs come to me in spontaneous manners, and that’s what I hope to try and get out of these sessions. I drew this lady in yesterday’s session. It seems like whenever I am lost about what to draw I immediately go to the familiar - the female face.  And super happy chipmunks. But mostly the female face. I tried out my new coloured ink pens on this, and turns out they must be more water based than my usual ones as they ran pretty heavy when I gave the drawing a tea wash over. The purple lines were actually originally brown. Gives her a bit of a ghostly feel I think.
